Gone are the days where the laundry is a mere utility space. Ours is one of my favourite spaces. It fills me with joy to look down our kitchen into this space which is not a feeling people typically equate with the laundry. The nude coloured Venetian Plaster makes this room glow. It invites you in like an alluring sunset.

About 6 years ago my sister and family moved into a quirky mid century style home on the Gold Coast. It got a complete internal renovation but the bedrooms were left very, very naked (boring) so at the beginning of this year they got a full overhaul and what a transformation. Niece’s Room […]
A project close to us (literal and metaphorical), my parents purchased an original 80s brick home that made for a satisfying yet accessible transformation. With Hacienda vibes, lush beautiful acreage and streams of natural light through in-built skylights we drew inspiration from the original stained glass windows to create a timeless aesthetic that feels like a true […]

This space was custom designed to act as my design studio. I always wanted a floating desk and the banks of open shelving feels like an art installation for all my treasures. Little did I know that this space would become a hotspot for the entire family. We can call its popularity an indicator of its success.

It’s hard to describe the allure of a round dining table. We gather here multiple times a day and not just for eating. The dining setting which features the most functional and brilliant booth seat (all credit to Michael) was a success beyond measure and not because it looks good. It might be due to the fact that the table is so central to the home but if you measure the success of a space on how frequently it’s used then this space is a total hit!
Dining Setting
Dining Table: Tully from Globe West
Chairs: Curated Spaces
Chair Cushion Covers & Pads: Duck Stripe from Three Beaches
Cow Hide Rug: Decorug
