Furniture and Furnishings is what turns a floor plan into a space makes a house feel finished, and unmistakably lived in.

Interior decoration encompasses the selection and arrangement of everything within a space that isn't structural — furniture, lighting, window furnishings, fabric, art, rugs and finishing detail.

It begins with an examination of how the space is actually used, what isn't working, and what merits retaining — light, proportion, and any structural constraints. From this, we develop a spatial layout and concept direction — palette, materiality, general furniture typologies. We source and specify furniture, fabric, lighting and hardware through our supplier network. Procurement, freight, relevant trades and installation follow, through to the final styling of the completed space.

Carlene Duffy Studio offers a full suite of interior design services, tailored to projects of all sizes and scopes.

From initial concept through to construction documentation, procurement, and project management, every stage of the design journey is thoughtfully considered to ensure a seamless and successful outcome.

Design Intensives are up to 2-hour sessions, delivered in person or via Zoom, providing expert guidance on layouts, finishes, lighting, and styling to refine your space efficiently and cohesively.
