PACIFIC HOUSE

Coastal cool meets MCM

In the Pacific House project, Carlene Duffy reimagines a vintage seaside home into a bold, character-filled retreat for a vibrant young family. Focused on transforming the bedrooms, the renovation brings personality, practicality, and a deep sense of place. VJ panelling in custom colours, vintage-inspired furnishings, and thoughtful joinery create spaces that feel nostalgic yet fresh—perfectly suited to coastal living with a contemporary twist.
Each room tells its own story. The master bedroom is moody and calm, defined by soft navy tones, bespoke details, and layered textures. Children’s rooms are playful and expressive, with colourful wall treatments, unique lighting, and a touch of retro charm. Throughout the home, Carlene’s eye for palette and balance ensures every corner feels cohesive yet distinctly personal—a home that feels loved, lived-in, and unmistakably by the sea.
